In June 2005, our attractive Farm Market, centrally located at 29709 Downes Road opened to sell fresh B.C. grown produce as well as an array of poultry products. We are looking to meet the consumers' expectation for high quality as well as confidence in the origin of the farm grown product. The
store also provides fruit and vegetables
grown on our own farms or neighbouring farms to complement the poultry
products, along with an array of high quality locally produced items.
The market displays antique vehicles and farm equipment to give the consumer an understanding of the history of transportation and agriculture that is the heritage of our family in Canada the last 125 years. To read more about the history of our farm, click here.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)Q.Do you feed your chickens hormones? A. No Way! According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) it is illegal to feed chickens hormones in Canada and we have always followed this rule. Q. Do you stuff your chickens full of anti-biotics from the moment they are born? A. Absolutely not. You wouldn't do this with your kids and we don't do this with our chickens. If however one of our birds becomes ill - we will use antibiotics if necessary to nurse the chicken back to health. Q. Are your chickens 'Free Range' chickens? A. We do not keep our chickens cooped in cages. Our chickens are 'free run' -they are allowed to wander throughout the barn building. Q. What is special about your chicken products? A. Right from the beginning -our chickens start on our farm. We breed our broilers in our breeder broiler barn. Then the eggs are taken to our hatchery where they are incubated to perfection. Once hatched, the chicks are grown in our barns, and raised on our feed from our feedmill. And when they are ready for consumption we will process them in our own processing plant.
