Rossdown Farms Ltd. can offer their expert
services to other farms in three areas: Feed Mill Services, Egg
Hatching, and Poultry Processing.
Feed Mill
Our feed milling division in the Township of
Langley produces around 20,000 tonnes per year of science- based,
balanced poultry ration. We produce up to 19 different types of feed
depending on the growth stage and type of bird we are feeding. We are
also capable of producing specialty diets to meet the market
requirements of the discriminating public. Our feed mill is located on
five acres with railway access for fast distribution and easy intake of
our main ingredients: corn, wheat and grain.

NOW OPEN! - rOSSDOWN NATURAL FOODS LTD.
In order to
ensure the orderly processing of all of our poultry product we have now
completed our processing plant and freezer at 2325 Bradner Road in West
Abbotsford, to meet the needs of our growing operation.
Rossdown Natural Foods Ltd opened in the
fall of 2007 as a
multi species, federally inspected poultry processing plant. A state of
the art
facility in a parklike setting boasts 34,000 sq ft of processing space
and
14,000 sq. ft. of cold storage.
This is the final step to controlling the
quality of our end product by producing the finest free-run birds fed a
proper diet and processing them for the health conscious public.

Hatchery
Our modern Canadian Food Inspection Agency
(CFIA) approved hatchery building and equipment are capable of hatching
150,000 chicks per week. By adding additional equipment we can increase
our output to 200,000 per week. We located the hatchery on 37 acres
next to an Abbotsford sewer line in order to provide long-term disposal
wastewater without environmental concerns.
