Poultry Production         Rossdown Farms is the only family operated completely integrated poultry farm in BC. We offer the finest quality poultry in the entire Fraser Valley including broiler chickens, turkeys and ducks.  We know this because we do everything ourselves. From the hatching to the feeding and everything in between we do it ourselves so we know it is done right. We have:  HACCP certification implemented across all of our production divisions. Only use the highest quality feed -no hormones! Automatic sanitizing stations to clean every truck that comes on the property to prevent cross contamination Strict bio-security measures for all of our division in accordance with all CFIA regulations         Broilers This is the main component of Rossdown Farms Ltd.  Starting with only one barn in 1968 Rossdown now has 13 barns (including 6 two-story barns) with a production quota of approximately 42,500 birds per week. Our broiler quota allocation uses approximately 75% of the fertile eggs from our broiler breeder division. Our broiler barns are located on three different premises: 29781 Downes Road, 4184 Ross Road and 3717 Ross Road on a total of 53 acres.                 back to top       Broiler Breeder Division Rossdown Farms produces broiler hatching eggs from approximately 25,000 breeder hens each year.  Did you know? Our farm has 25,000 hens, each  producing enough fertile eggs to hatch 110 chicks per year - resulting in roughly 2.75 million chicks!       back to top       DUck Division In our newest poultry division, we raise 100,000 ducks yearly using the same innovative management style and stringent bio-security measures implemented at our successful chicken and turkey divisions. back to top   Turkey Division Started in the early 1980s, Rossdown Farms Ltd. now grows over 1.7 million KG of turkey each year.  A new flock of Rossdown turkeys is started seventeen times per year in brooding barns and later moved to 130,000 square feet of 'grow out' barns so they have lots of room to move around.  The turkeys are fed six different types of feed from our own feed mill depending on their stage of growth.         back to top
